Dentist

Isaac Chan

Qualification: BDS University of Bristol 2020

Isaac, first completed an undergraduate degree in Biomedical Science at King’s College London before graduating in Dentistry from the University of Bristol in 2020. Following foundation training, he went on to complete three years of core training in Oral Surgery, Oral Medicine and Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery across Bristol and Exeter hospitals.
Alongside his role at Bristol Dental Sedation and Implant Clinic, Isaac works as a Specialty Dentist in Oral Surgery at Bristol Dental Hospital. He is also a Clinical Lecturer at Bristol Dental School, where he supervises both undergraduate and postgraduate students in oral surgery, supporting the next generation of clinicians.

Isaac is committed to ongoing postgraduate education, having completed examinations and assessments to be a member of the Royal College of Surgeons. He also has completed further training to provide intravenous sedation for his patients, which compliments his own interest and expertise in oral surgery to provide a calming environment for all his patients.

Outside of dentistry, Isaac is a keen sportsman and supporter of Liverpool FC! He and his wife also love taking their 17 year-old cavapoo on walks when they can!

Role within the Practice? 

Dentist. Born and raised in Cardiff. I obtained my Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the University of Bristol.

Do you have a hidden talent? What is it?

Not really a talent but I can bench press 130kg.

What led you to this career?

Wanting to give back to the profession that had a real positive impact on my life growing up.

What do you enjoy doing when you are not working?

I love to exercise so you will most likely catch me in the gym.

Dentist

Saoud Ahmed

Qualification: BDS University of Bristol 2023

GDC No: 309747

Saoud graduated from the University of Bristol in 2023, where he developed a strong foundation in all aspects of general dentistry. After qualifying, he remained in the South West to complete his Foundation Training year, gaining valuable experience in restorative and preventive dentistry while building trusted relationships with his patients.

He then moved to Manchester to work within Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Oral Surgery. His time in hospital settings allowed him to broaden his surgical skillset, experience complex cases, and work closely with specialist teams. Saoud has a strong interest in progressing his minor oral surgery and is committed to continually developing his surgical skills to offer patients the highest standard of care.

Saoud is passionate about helping patients feel comfortable and confident in the dental chair. He aims to deliver dentistry that is gentle, honest, and tailored to each individual.

Outside of work, Saoud likes to stay active. You’ll often find him in the gym, out hiking, or playing football in his spare time.

Toheed Hamid

Toheed graduated from the University of Bristol in 2008 and has worked in NHS and Private practices since qualifying. He has developed a reputation for being an empathetic, thorough and well-mannered dentist.

For a period of 5 years, Toheed held the role of Foundation Dentist Trainer in the Southwest Dental Deanery with great enthusiasm. In this role, he was responsible for mentoring and guiding newly-qualified dentists during their transition from university to general practice. It is a role he enjoyed immensely and one that allowed him to provide support and reassurance to the next generation of dentists.

Emily Brown

Role within the Practice?

Multi-Site Manager of 3 busy practices in a growing business soon to be 5. I overlook the practices dental compliance, policies, staff rotas and staff development.

Do you have a hidden talent? What is it?

I am artistic and have a flair for doing hair. Recently had an award hair extension specialist of the year.

What led you to this career?

I was a dental nurse before entering management. I was fortunate enough to have a paid apprenticeship age 17, and over the years I have been keen to keep educating myself. There is always a new topic to learn about with dentistry.

What do you enjoy doing when you are not working?

I love the outdoors and the mountains where I live. My family and I spend most of our free time outside with our 2 Labradors especially when we have the weather!

Nadia Forrester

Special interests: Prevention and Stabilisation of gum disease, Tailored oral hygiene advice.

I began my career in dentistry in 2017, initially obtaining a Diploma in Dental Nursing from Cardiff University. I then went on to study Dental Hygiene and Therapy at the University of Birmingham, graduating in 2022.

I am dedicated to creating a calm and welcoming environment for my patients, helping them to feel at ease during their visits. I am passionate about the prevention of gum disease and the stabilisation of oral health, providing patients with the tools and knowledge they need to take control of their oral care. I deliver tailored oral hygiene advice to support my patients in maintaining their oral health at home and continuing their oral care journey beyond the clinic.

Outside of the clinical setting, I enjoy peaceful walks, Pilates, and reading.

Clinical Dental Technician

David Nuttall

Dave, a proud native of Chatham, Ontario, grew up surrounded by the art and precision of dental craftsmanship in his father’s dental laboratory. From a young age, he developed a passion for the field—helping out with small tasks in the lab and learning the importance of quality, care, and attention to detail.

In 2007, Dave graduated from the Dental Technology program at George Brown College, where he honed his technical skills and deepened his understanding of dental materials and fabrication. His drive to work directly with patients led him to continue his studies, and in 2010, he completed the Denturism program, also at George Brown College.

Today, Dave combines his technical background with a patient-focused approach to provide personalized denture care. He utilizes the latest technology and modern procedures to ensure every patient receives comfortable, natural-looking, and confident smiles. Known for his approachable nature and dedication to excellence, Dave is committed to helping his patients feel at ease and leave with results they can truly smile about.

Lead Dental Nurse

Taylor Morgan

Taylor began her dental nursing career in 2018 within the NHS, where she quickly developed a strong passion for delivering high-quality patient care. After moving into private dentistry five years ago, she has continued to grow her skills as Lead Dental Nurse at BDSI. Alongside her clinical responsibilities, Taylor also works on reception, supporting patients with her warm and calming manner from the moment they enter the practice.
With a particular interest in oral surgery and additional qualifications in intravenous sedation, she is dedicated to ensuring every patient feels comfortable, informed, and reassured throughout their treatment journey.
Outside of work, Taylor loves travelling the world, exploring new places, and discovering new cuisines. In her spare time she enjoys regular reformer Pilates sessions.

Elise Chidzey

As a Dental Nurse, my focus is to support patients throughout their treatment and help ensure every visit feels calm and comfortable. I was drawn to this career through my interest in patient care and the constant opportunities to learn and grow within the field. Outside of work, I love spending time with friends and family and exploring new places.

Courtney Broad

Courtney was born and raised in Bristol and qualified as a dental nurse in 2021. She joined the Bristol Dental and Sedation Clinic in 2024, where she enjoys all aspects of dentistry, from routine care to more specialized procedures. Over the years, Courtney has worked in various dental practices, gaining extensive experience and a broad knowledge of different specialties.
Passionate about expanding her skills, Courtney has also completed additional qualifications in intravenous sedation, allowing her to provide even more tailored care to patients.
Outside of her professional life, Courtney loves to explore and make lasting memories with her three beautiful children. Whether it’s discovering new places or enjoying quiet family moments, she values the time spent with her loved ones.

I’m currently training as a Dental Nurse and really enjoying learning all the different parts of the job. I love helping patients feel comfortable and supported during their visits, and I’m always trying to build my skills and confidence in the clinic.
