At Bristol Dental Sedation and Implant Clinic, we are dedicated to providing the best care to our patients in Bristol, Staple Hill, Downend and the surrounding areas of Gloucestershire. Treatment Plans and Estimates
After agreeing on a treatment plan with our Dental specialist in Bristol, you will receive printed details outlining your arrangement. If changes occur due to radiographic or clinical discoveries, we will promptly inform you and discuss the necessary adjustments. Fees and treatment plans are valid for ninety days from the prescribed treatment date. Please feel free to ask any questions regarding your treatment plan.

Consent for Dental Treatments at Bristol Sedation and Implant Clinic
Certain treatments require written consent forms to inform you fully about the procedure, aftercare, and associated risks. You or the dentist can revoke consent at any time for any treatment.

Fees and Charges for Dental Treatments
Fees and charges for treatments are expected on the day of the appointment. We do not offer account facilities for overdue payments. In cases involving laboratory fees, a minimum of 50% of the total fee is due when impressions are taken. For treatments including intravenous sedation, fees must be settled before the appointment to avoid financial transactions or signatures under the influence of sedation.

Payment Methods
We accept cash, debit cards and credit cards (excluding American Express). Cheques are not accepted unless previously agreed upon with the practice owner. We reserve the right to recover costs incurred in referring unpaid accounts to a debt collection agency or the Small Claims Court.

Cancellations and Missed Appointments

Scheduled appointments at our Staple Hill surgery must be cancelled at least 24 hours in advance. A missed appointment fee proportional to the appointment’s duration covers the costs associated with the missed appointment.

In cases of cancellations or missed appointments with less than 24 hours notice, we may charge the full treatment cost. Appointments longer than one hour require a minimum of 72 hours’ notice. For late cancellations or missed appointments, we may request a 50% deposit to secure future appointments.

Your Personal Information

Keeping us informed of any changes in your medical history or personal contact details is crucial. It is the patient’s responsibility to update Bristol Sedation and Implant Clinic of any changes.

Our Guarantee

Fillings, crowns and bridgework are guaranteed for 12 months under specific conditions, including:

  • Full payment
  • No damage due to trauma or excessive grinding
  • Adherence to post-treatment maintenance recommendations
  • Regular six-month routine exams

X-Rays and Images

We may use smile and teeth images and X-rays from our website and offline materials for marketing and educational purposes. Your identity will remain confidential unless you notify us otherwise.

Patient Contact Information

We prioritise our patients’ well-being and may periodically contact you via phone, text, email or postal mail to provide updates, reminders, and important information. If you prefer not to be contacted through specific methods, please inform us.

Zero-Tolerance Abuse Policy

We maintain a zero-tolerance policy towards abuse directed at our staff and dentists, including disruptive behaviour, persistent missed appointments and late cancellations. We reserve the right to refuse treatment and admission in such circumstances.

Data Protection

We comply with the Data Protection Act and GDPR by securely storing patient information. Clinical notes, radiographs, photos and data belong to Bristol Sedation and Implant Clinic, and we may charge an administration fee for copies of notes, radiographs or photographs upon request.
