Overview — 001

Careful planning behind every comfortable wisdom tooth removal.

As the final teeth to arrive, wisdom teeth often discover there's no proper room for them. The result can be pain, swelling, ongoing infection, damage to the tooth beside it, or an area that's genuinely hard to keep clean. After a thorough examination, we'll advise whether it's better to monitor things or proceed with extraction. Some cases call for additional imaging beforehand. Where a CT scan would clarify exactly how the tooth relates to nearby nerves and structures, we arrange this at no cost, so your treatment can be mapped out as safely and accurately as possible.

  • Skilled, experienced clinical team
  • No charge for CT scans where clinically needed
  • Up-to-date surgical methods
  • Thorough treatment planning
  • Sedation offered to suitable adults
  • Straightforward aftercare guidance for recovery
The process — 002

How it goes, step by step.

4 stages
  1. 01
    30–45 minutes

    Consultation & Assessment

We check the wisdom tooth, discuss your symptoms, and agree together whether extraction is the right path forward.

  2. 02
    Usually completed during your assessment

X-rays & CT Scan (If Required)

We take whatever imaging is needed to assess the tooth at this point, and if a CT scan proves clinically necessary, it's included free so we can plan the procedure safely.

  3. 03
    30–60 minutes

    Wisdom Tooth Removal

We take the tooth out gently under local anaesthetic. For trickier cases, or if you're feeling anxious, IV sedation is also on offer for anyone 18 or over.

  4. 04
    Recovery usually takes several days

    Recovery & Aftercare

We'll send you home with clear aftercare notes to ease discomfort and lower the chance of any complications while you heal.

The things people actually ask.

Can't see your question? Message us on WhatsApp — we'll reply the same day.

  • Not at all — many wisdom teeth cause no issues whatsoever and can simply stay put. We'd only recommend removal where there's a genuine clinical reason, such as pain, repeated infection, decay, or damage to the tooth next to it.

  • Not always. Where your dentist believes a CT scan would help confirm the tooth's position or its proximity to nerves, we provide one free before proceeding.

  • The procedure is done under local anaesthetic, so you shouldn't feel pain during it. A bit of soreness afterwards is completely normal and usually eases with the guidance and medication we suggest.

  • Yes — IV conscious sedation is available for suitable patients aged 18 and above, helping you stay calm throughout treatment, and it's priced separately from the extraction.

  • Most patients feel back to normal within a handful of days, though trickier extractions can take a little more time. We'll give you thorough aftercare advice to speed up healing as much as possible.

  • Keep to soft foods for the first couple of days and avoid very hot food, alcohol and smoking. We'll run through complete aftercare instructions before you head home.
